California Women for Agriculture (CWA) was founded in 1975 to bring together a diverse group of individuals—consumers, farmers, ranchers, and professionals—who are passionate about supporting agriculture. The Salinas Valley Chapter, established on December 9, 1976, is one of 20 chapters statewide and is proud to be part of the most active, all-volunteer agricultural organization in California.

Our chapter is deeply involved in community outreach, including Farm Days across multiple counties and awarding scholarships to young women in the Tri-County area. The Bus Trip is our primary fundraiser, raising money for our scholarship program. In 2026, we awarded $20,000 in scholarships thanks to funds raised through past bus trips.
