In November 2025, CWA Celebrated it's 50th year of official organization. CWA was founded on November 17, 2975. Salinas CWA was chartered one year later, on December 9, 1976.

Scholarship

Our chapter spends many hours organizing and planning annual fundraisers to provide $15,000- $20,000 to scholars who plan to achieve degrees in agriculture and/or children of farm workers.

Legislation

Each year California Women for Ag travel to Sacramento to speak to legislators about endorsing agriculture and reminding our representatives of agriculture's importance. This middle of the week travel requires time away from work and families.
